Art Safari Bucharest, one of Eastern Europe’s biggest and most exciting annual arts events, that showcases Romanian masterpieces and international art, celebrates 5 years of existence in Romania. The anniversary edition will be conceived as a temporary museum, that will host many exhibitions under the same roof, curated by acclaimed Romanian and international experts, placing Bucharest on the map of the most important European cultural capitals.
The Central Exhibition "Art on Stage", curated by Herve Mikaeloff, independent art consultant and French curator, Bernard Arnault, will present painting, installation, drawings and sculptures. The Museum Pavilion "100 years of Romanian Art", curated by Alina Șerban will be dedicated to 100 years of Romanian art and will comprise heritage art from over 20 museums in Romania. The Parallel Programme, held in collaboration with embassies, will exhibit an installation in public space created by the German artist Clemens Behr, exclusively for Art Safari.
